Bruce Jenner Gender Bender Questions

Ok, so let's talk about Bruce Jenner.

Before I begin let me share my general opinion on the big picture here. If the man wants to transition into a woman, then so be it.  I honestly wish him the best and think that if he believes it will complete him then he should absolutely do it. Everyone has the right to live their life and be happy any way they see fit, as long as it doesn't hurt others.

But, I do I have a few questions about this whole gender reassignment business. For instance, when he becomes a woman will he technically be a lesbian if he remains sexually active with females?

Or, when he becomes a woman will he then turn to men for sexual gratification? Will Kendall and Kylie still call him "Dad"?  Will he and Kris be BFFs forever and do lunch and nails and go shopping together? Will he be exchanging beauty tips with Kim?

We all know he loves to do guy stuff with his boys like golfing and such, as well as his helicopter hobby amongst many others. So, is he still going to do all those things? Or will he find new hobbies such as joining Oprah's Book Club and taking Yoga, or learning how to crochet? The possibilities are endless here.

I know this is none of my business, but hey, he is taking us on this journey with him so I'm addressing some of the questions that I know we all have.

What really happens after gender reassignment? How do they go on to live their lives, and statistically speaking, do they end up being happier in the long run?

Once they (men) chop it off, can they keep it frozen just in case they change their minds and want it sewn back on?  I am not trying to be facetious here, I'm just curious about all of the details that concern this very controversial surgery.

I did some research and didn't find any evidence of one's penis being kept on ice just in case they wanted it back. I suppose it's because if there is any doubt in one's mind about going forward with this extreme surgery in the first place then there will be no surgery as far as the doctors are concerned.

I also discovered that many of the people that move forward with this life-changing decision are unhappy and depressed afterwards, and an alarming number of them either commit or contemplate suicide.

Famed psychologist Dr. Paul McHugh once said this about one of his patients;

 "It is not obvious how this patient’s feeling that he is a woman trapped in a man’s body differs from the feeling of a patient with anorexia nervosa that she is obese despite her emaciated, cachectic state. We don’t do liposuction on anorexics. Why amputate the genitals of these poor men? Surely, the fault is in the mind not the member.”

This makes perfect sense to me. I am no doctor, but I get this. The other part of me says it's none of my goddamn business.

I guess we will have to wait and see how Bruce navigates his way through this whole thing, and kudos to him for letting the cameras in to record his upcoming docuseries. I'm sure the paycheck wasn't too bad either.

I, for one, am 100% in your corner, Bruce!

Good luck to you!
